I became a real estate agent at 24, after buying my first home despite multiple agents and lenders telling me it wasn't possible to buy a home as a single woman. I knew it was possible so I made it happen.

For example, did you know if you are a teacher or first time homebuyer there are specific downpayment assistance programs available just for you? Putting down 20% isn't necessary anymore and in some cases you can have your closing costs covered for you! My goal is to ensure you can take full advantage of all of these programs. There are also ways we can structure your offer to have the seller pay for some of the closing costs or even an interest rate buy down, which means less money out of your pocket now and in the future! And remember...paying your own mortgage feels so much better than paying your landlords mortgage (especially when they keep raising the rent...)
Most first time homebuyers believe in myths like having to put 20% down or having to have two incomes to qualify. Many don't believe they can actually become a homeowner. I decided to become a real estate agent because I wanted to make sure my friends, family members and everyone in my community realized that they too can become homeowners and never again have to worry about landlords increasing their rent. I want to help other single women and community advocates navigate the complex real estate process.

I do happy dances on Instagram to celebrate my clients and take photos of them opening the door that very first time, it's what I LOVE.
