🌱 Rooted in Community, Even When the World Feels Heavy

Move With Rose ~ Q1 Newsletter

Lately, the world feels chaotic. (understatement of the century!)

The news cycle moves fast. The headlines are heavy. There’s a lot happening globally, nationally and right here at home.

When things feel uncertain, overwhelming, or just plain exhausting, one thing becomes even more clear:

Community matters.

Not the abstract kind. The real kind. The kind where neighbors show up. Where we check in. Where we share resources. Where we gather on sidewalks, at open houses, at parks, at kitchen tables…Community is more than a transaction. It’s belonging. It’s stability. It’s connection. It’s knowing the people around you.In heavy times, we don’t shrink. We root deeper. We reach for each other.

🏡 2025: By the Numbers

In 2025:

⭐️ 19 homes sold
⭐️ Sale prices ranging from $244,000 to $749,000
⭐️ Multiple homes selling above list price in competitive situations

From first-time buyers to move-up families to long-time homeowners ready for their next chapter 2025 was full of real stories and people living life.

Nineteen sets of keys handed over.
Nineteen new beginnings.

Thank you for being part of my story.

🏆 Top 10% Senior Executive Associate

Honored to be awarded Windermere Landpark’s 2025 Company Top 10% Senior Executive Associate. Grateful for the trust of my clients and community that makes milestones like this possible.

💌 What I’ve Been Up To

The start of the year has been full in the best way.

I’ve been hosting open houses, meeting with buyers, navigating interest rate shifts, advising out of town sellers on strategy, and having honest conversations about what stability really looks like right now.

MLK March

Bravery means you do it anyway.

January 7, an ordinary day.

Lunch with neighbors. A walk. A life in motion.

Then a scroll and Renee Good, gone, murdered.

Violence where there should have been breath.

Shock, outrage, tears.

That old, aching question: when will this end?

Soon after, I traveled to North Dakota for a funeral.

Grief on grief.

Carrying loss through a place shaped by different beliefs,
holding my own quietly, tenderly.

When I came home, I walked.

The annual Martin Luther King Jr. Day March, a tradition, a return.

It felt good to be held by community again,
even as the knowing lingered:
that this society was built to protect the few, the wealthy,
and leave so many exposed.

Someone at the march spoke this sentence aloud “bravery means you do it anyway”
and it stayed with me, settling in my soul.

So I made this sign.
Not because I am fearless,
but because I am here.
Because speaking still matters.
Because showing up still matters.

❄️ North Dakota

My first time walking on a lake and I made a snow angel.

Went ice fishing and caught a fish in under three minutes!

Hugged a few trees for good measure.

🎞️ No Address Film Screening

I watched ‘No Address’ and it landed straight in my chest.

As someone whose dad lived outside, this film felt painfully, beautifully accurate. It didn’t look away. It didn’t flatten people into statistics or “problems.” It showed people living outside as who they are: humans, neighbors, loved ones, full of stories and dignity.

So much of what I saw mirrored real life; the complexity, the tenderness, the trauma, the resilience. It reminded me how thin the line is, and how easily any of us could end up without an address in a system that so often fails people.

The film was hosted in the most beautiful space by Dreams Unlimited, whose work bringing people together, fostering connection, and showing up for their community feels just as important as the stories on screen. Spaces like this matter. Gathering like this matters.

I also learned about how Elk Grove is doing the work, providing wraparound services, mental health care, and real support so residents aren’t just housed, but held.

I can’t recommend this film enough.

🫂 Quality Time

Grateful for lunches with my lovely neighbors. Home is a space to invite connection and sharing a meal is a great way to do so!

I always have time to say hi to my fuzzy neighbors as well!

💫 At The Show

Snuck away to San Francisco to see Whitney perform and amazing show at The Independent. I love a night of live music in the city.

🌹 Valentine Grams

Delivering a little unexpected joy around the neighborhood. Because we can use all the joy we can get!

📅 Q2 Community Calendar

🌸 April ~ Out With The Old, In With The New

Clear the clutter and reclaim your peace. Bring your old tax returns, sensitive documents, and paperwork for secure on-site shredding. It’s an easy way to start fresh. We shredded over 4,000 lbs last year. You will leave feeling lighter!

The beloved neighborhood-wide Tahoe Park Yard Sale returns, with over 100 neighbors throughout the area hosting individual sales and treasures waiting to be found. You can grab an official yard sale map starting Saturday so you can plan your route, meet neighbors, and uncover great local finds.

Had to show some love to Arlan Hamilton and her Your First Million Conference, a space I’ve attended in the past and genuinely admire. Always inspiring, always thoughtful, always community-centered. This year she is hosting it virtually!

🌷 May ~ Garden Tour Season

If you know, you know. Garden tour season is pure neighborhood magic.

What began 10 years ago is now a quirky, creative and fun garden tour.

Explore the hidden gardens of Tahoe Park at your own pace (10 AM–3 PM).

A two-day walking tour of elegant gardens throughout East Sac, with a boutique, tea garden, and festive community atmosphere.

A self-guided stroll through several lovely private gardens in Davis, hosted by the Pence Gallery (noon–5 PM).

🌈 June ~ Pride Month! Celebrating Love, Belonging & Visibility

Sacramento Pride returns to downtown for a weekend celebrating love, visibility, and community. A weekend that brings together neighbors, families, small businesses, and local organizations for a joyful celebration of LGBTQ+ life in our city. Whether you’re marching, dancing, or simply showing up in support, it’s one of the most vibrant community weekends of the year.

  • Stay Informed. Stay Engaged

June brings an opportunity to have your voice heard. The California Primary Election is on June 2, 2026, with county and statewide offices on the ballot. Whether it’s local leadership or state representation, this is your opportunity to participate in shaping our community.

Community isn’t just where we live.
It’s how we show up for each other.
The world feels like a lot right now and I see you.

If you’re thinking about your next move, whether it’s finally leaving your slumlord, finding a place a bit more peaceful or just exploring what’s possible, I’m here.

Rooted.
Ready.
With you.
